If you’re a comic book fan, the upcoming Atlanta Comic Con is the place to be to geek out.

Imaginarium will be debuting their first-ever comic con in downtown Atlanta from July 13 to 15 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Previously, the event production company held comic cons in Tampa Bay, Indiana and San Francisco that drew tens of thousands to each of the conventions.

Know what to expect for the epic event that will be filled with comic superstars, exhibitions, artists and more.

Celebrities will make appearances.

Meet your favorite movie stars and animated voice actors at the convention.

Sean Astin, from “Stranger Things,” “Lord of the Rings,” and “The Goonies” will be at the event on Saturday and Sunday.

“Star Trek” actress Nichelle Nichols and “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” actor Henry Thomas will also be at the con each day.

Attendees can also chat with Rodger Bumpass, the voice actor of Squidward Tentacles from “Spongebob SquarePants,” or Linda Larkin, the voice actor of Princess Jasmine from the 1993 Disney movie.

Bring cash if you want to get an autograph or photo-op with one of the celebs. Autographs range from $30 to $50, and photos with one of the stars can cost from $15 to $50. Prices vary based on the person and can be found online.

Get a sketch by a comic creator.

Find artists from “Dexter’s Laboratory,” “Batman” and “The Simpsons” at the Guest Artist Alley within the event space. Attendees can get a chance to score a sketch made by a creator. However, the price for art by them and autographs are up to the artist.

Come dressed up.

You could win big by dressing in cosplay at the Atlanta Comic Con. A cosplay contest will kick off when the convention begins. Sign up to have your costume judged at Event Registration. Organizers advise those who are interested to register for the contest as soon as they can because spots are limited.

Also note that real weapons, such as firearms, sharpened swords and bb guns, will not be allowed.

Tickets can be purchased online.

You can buy your tickets on the Atlanta Comic Con website in advance. The three-day admission pass is $60. Single day tickets can also be purchased at $30 for Friday, $40 for Saturday and $30 for Sunday.

Know where to park in advance.

There are about seven parking lots around the Georgia World Congress Center. The Yellow Lot, Blue Lot and Gold Deck are both off of Northside Drive NW at the event’s location. On Joseph E. Boone Boulevard NW, there is the Mashalling Parking Yard, and down on Marietta Street NW is Green Deck. Red Deck and Silver Deck are right next to each other off of Andrew Young International Boulevard NW.
