Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers Resigns Seat for Job with Ga. Public Broadcasting (Pt. 1)

Outgoing Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers (R-Woodstock), who announced on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd that he is resigning his Senate seat for a senior position at Georgia Public Broadcasting.

Outgoing State Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers, who decided last month not to seek another term in his leadership post, is now leaving the Legislature entirely.

Governor Nathan Deal has appointed Rogers to what’s being described as a senior position with Georgia Public Broadcasting, starting in January.  Rogers has been Senate Majority Leader for two years.
