StoryCorps: Blanca Rojas with Adelina Nicholls
By Kate Sweeney
This StoryCorps features Blanca Rojas of Kennesaw. She hates moving. As a child, she, her siblings and her parents worked as migrant farm workers – moving twice a year every year. At StoryCorps Atlanta she told her friend Adelina Nicholls how that happened and what it was like. As an adult Blanca took and passed the GED and is currently working on a college degree. This story was recorded in partnership with the Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights.
