Today through Saturday at the Woodruff Arts Center, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Robert Spano present the world premiere of a new concerto by Michael Gandolfi.  The Nature of Light was written for ASO Principal Clarinetist, Laura Ardan. Laura joined the orchestra in 1982.  WABE's Lois Reitzes sat down with Ardan to discuss the experience of preparing the piece—and about the changes she’s seen at the ASO in her more than three decades as the Robert Shaw chair.
