The Artist Behind Atlanta’s Tiny Doors

If you’ve ever been on the BeltLine or in one of the intown neighborhoods, you might have noticed a tiny… door. 

They’re less than a foot tall, eye-catching and surprisingly detailed. They’re part of an art project called Tiny Doors ATL.

The creator behind it is Karen Anderson.

She recently shared the StoryCorps Atlanta booth with her friend Sarah Meng to talk about how — and why — she started strategically placing tiny doors throughout Atlanta.
