“Fastest Fingers in the World” Comes to Atlanta

In 2008, an Irish accordionist by the name of Liam O’Connor set the Guinness Record for the “fastest fingers in the world.”  Liam played an amazing 11.64 notes per second.

Before Guinness came calling, Liam toured with Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance company for two and a half years.  This weekend Liam O’Connor’s in Atlanta to help the city celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a performance at the Buckhead Theatre as well as taking part in that afternoon’s parade.  We at City Café always have the best of luck, be it Irish or not, as Liam stopped by the studio to talk music, world records and nicknames.
