Gwen Middlebrooks

The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Junior relied on students like Gwen Middlebrooks of Spelman College to move the message of the civil rights movement forward. She and many of her peers were involved in sit ins and pray ins across Atlanta, including one incident at the cafeteria at the Georgia General Assembly.
