At ten, Yampa is a senior citizen among Great Danes. His owner, Ranji Singh, says his favorite part of the week is his aquatic constitutional–at Loving Touch Animal Center’s underwater treadmill. The water’s buoyancy reduces the impact on his elderly limbs while providing gentle resistance to his muscles. But Singh says that Yampa’s favorite part of the therapy is the peanut-butter-covered dog biscuits she gives him throughout.
