Virgil Parsley is one of several individuals who can be seen on weekends flying at the Friendly Flyers RC club in Jersey, located here. The history of radio control can be traced back to 1898 at an exhibition at Madison Square Garden. It was there that Nikola Tesla showed an audience a small boat which he could command by remote control.
