“Hot Lips” Visits Atlanta

Actor Sally Kellerman is perhaps best known for her role as Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan in Robert Altman’s 1970 film M*A*S*H*. She was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for that role and has starred in many films since, including Brewster McCloud, A Little Romance, and the 1986 Rodney Dangerfield vehicle Back to School.

Next weekend, Kellerman will be in town for a special screening of M*A*S*H* at the Midtown Arts Cinema, as well as for a series of cabaret shows at Jerry Farber’s Side Door Club. Previously, the still-busy actress spoke with WABE’s Lois Reitzes from her home in California about seeing Robert Altman’s film decades after its release with a whole new generation of fans.
