Sonic Generator performs Drumming

Atlanta’s contemporary music ensemble, Sonic Generator will host a free concert this Friday night at the Goat Farm.  They’re performing Drumming, by Steve Reich.   The nearly forty year old composition is considered one of the masterpieces of percussion ensemble music.  Tom Sherwood, who is the principle percussionist for the Atlanta Symphony and also a member of Sonic Generator, explains.    You can see a video clip of the work being performed here.
