A Lesson for Atlanta? Houston Moves Ahead with Light Rail Expansion

Houston, Texas in some ways mirrors Atlanta.  Most notably, it is a fast-growing city with far-flung suburbs that rely heavily on the automobile.  The city itself has a light rail system–the MetroRail–which is very limited in the area it serves.  But that is quickly changing.  Here, WABE’s Steve Goss talks with Gail DeLaughter, a reporter who covers transportation issues for Houston public radio station, KUHF:
