Jorge Polo is an immigrant, but for the past 30 years, his family has called Georgia home. At StoryCorps, Jorge’s granddaughters—13-year-old Sophie and 10-year-old Elise–wanted to know what his own childhood in Colombia was like, and what it was like to come to the U.S. for the first time.
