In The Midnight Hour: Memories of Wilson Pickett
In the Midnight Hour: The Music of Wilson Pickett, is a jukebox musical that celebrates the music legacy and life of the international Rhythm and Blues artist, The “Wicked” Wilson Pickett…the man who put songs like “Mustang Sally,” and “Land of 1000 Dances” at the top of the charts. That revue based on his life opens on the stage of the Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center this Friday, and we sat down with Maxwell Pickett—Wilson’s youngest brother and producer of the show—to talk about the soul singer’s legacy and this weekend’s performances.
