  When you think of barbershop quartets in theater, that wholesome wholesome 1957 Broadway hit The Music Man might come to mind.

Now, Atlanta’s Theatrical Outfit is playing with the genre’s nostalgic appeal in its new show, The Fabulous Lipitones. Host John Lemley sat down with the play’s director, Justin Anderson, and its two playwrights, Mark Saint-Germain and John Markus, to ask: Why barbershop quartets?
