APS Defendants, Including Beverly Hall, Turn Themselves In – Ongoing Updates
Update 7:30 p.m. – Dr. Beverly Hall has just turned herself in at the Fulton County Jail. She arrived at the jail shortly after several other top former APS officials also turned themselves in.

Update 6:45 p.m. – WABE reporter Jonathan Shapiro reports from the Fulton County Jail that there are now 17 of the 35 indicted former APS employees who have turned themselves in. He also reports that none of these people has posted bond and been released. They are all still in jail at this time.

Checking this list against the indictment, most of the top managers have not turned themselves in. Only one out of six former principals has surrendered to authorities. None of the five top administrators named in the indictment, including former superintendent Dr. Beverly Hall, have turned themselves in so far.

Update 5:45 p.m. - Sofar 11 of the 35 former APS teachers named in the indictment have turned themselves in. Everyone named in the indictment is supposed to turn themselves in before the end of today (11:59 PM).
