An estimated 100,000 college basketball fans are in Atlanta, ready to cheer on their teams in the NCAA Basketball Final Four.

The games are Saturday, but lots of fans were hanging out at the Georgia Dome Friday, enjoying open practices.

Wichita State fan Jennifer Green says she wouldn’t miss it.

“Every flight out of Wichita is booked solid,” she says.  ”It’s awesome.”

This is the first Final Four for the Shockers in 48 years, and even though they’re the underdogs, Green has confidence they’ll beat Louisville.

“Wichita State 68, Louisville 65,” she predicts.

The second matchup Saturday is between Michigan and Syracuse.  Michigan fan John Zenner’s here to cheer on the Wolverines, if he can get a ticket.

His first goal is to stay awake.

“We jumped in the car last night, about 5:00, and got here about 8:00 this morning, and now we’re just roaming around,” he says.

While Louisville, Syracuse, Michigan and Wichita State are the big names of the weekend, they’re not the only ones.

On Sunday, Metro State and Drury play for the Division II championship.

In Division III, it’s the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor against Amherst College.
