Finding the Money to Fight Elder Abuse: A Talk with GBI Director Vernon Keenan

Continuing WABE’s examination of the problem of elder abuse in Georgia, WABE’s Denis O’Hayer spoke with GBI Director Vernon Keenan about the ongoing investigation of an Alzheimer’s care facility in Commerce, and whether the state has the resources to address the growing problem of elder abuse.  

The Commerce home was recently shut down by state officials and charges were filed against the owner and 20 staffers.
