GSU First Year Book Meditates on Katrina

Georgia State University welcomes its incoming students with a reading assignment. The First Year Book program puts one book in the hands of an entire freshman class and this year, the author is the U.S. Poet Laureate Natasha Trethewey. This past Sunday, Trethewey addressed that incoming class during their Convocation. WABE’s Lois Reitzes has the story.
