How One State is Trying to Implement Obamacare: A Talk with Nevada’s Health Exchange Chief, Part 1
October 1st, 2013 is a key date in the rollout of the Affordable Care Act–which even President Obama now calls “Obamacare.”
After that date, consumers will be able to use online marketplaces, called exchanges, to compare and buy health care insurance plans.
But while state officials in Georgia continue to oppose the ACA, and have refused to set up a Georgia exchange, some other states are pushing ahead with implementation and education.
WABE’s Denis O’Hayer spoke with Jon Hager, executive director of Nevada’s Silver State Health Insurance Exchange.
