Travel analysts predict Atlanta is one of the major U.S. cities that’s well-poised for a corporate travel rebound.
Consulting firm Deloitte’s just-released 2022 Business Travel Report draws on a survey of 150 travel managers and business executives. It also comes on the heels of Hartsfield-Jackson reclaiming and boasting its title of the world’s busiest airport.
The report cites that a fourth of respondents expect their employees to travel to company headquarters more often, despite less frequent travel overall. Deloitte researchers also factor in a demand for conferences and events in warmer climates and months – a pipeline to Atlanta.
Bryan Terry is the firm’s Global Aviation leader. He told WABE even though international travel isn’t bouncing back as quickly as analysts thought, it’s a slow but steady increase.
