Without Georgia’s tax-free weekend, school supplies can really add up.
To help families manage the expense, businesses, schools, organizations and churches are hosting free back-to-school events around metro Atlanta. These events are giving away free supplies, backpacks, haircuts and more.
Starting this week through Aug. 4 there will be opportunities to stock up before school starts back.
In order to receive most of these deals, children must be present with their parents at these events.
Stop by these events to check off everything on your list of supplies – and a little fun – to start the school year off.
