WABE TV will soon debut (re)Defining History: Uncovering The 1906 Atlanta Race Massacre.

The half-hour documentary, narrated by Georgia State University professor and historian Dr. Maurice Hobson, explores the untold story behind the massacre, what led to the eruption of violence, and how it strengthened resilience within the Black community.

On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Hobson returns to the program to talk more about the documentary and how the massacre marked a pivotal moment in America’s history.
