'Judge John Hodgman' comedy podcast renders verdicts live at Variety Playhouse

Comedian, writer, actor and former “Daily Show” “resident expert” John Hodgman is an individual possessed of unusually extensive knowledge on all topics, as well as the magnanimity to share it with mere mortals like us.

On the podcast “Judge John Hodgman,” he delivers rulings on disputes as crucial as “Is chili a soup or a stew?” and “Is a machine gun a robot?”

Along with co-host and producer Jesse Thorn, the podcast will live in Atlanta at the Variety Playhouse on Oct. 29.

In this interview, John Hodgman and Jesse Thorn, co-hosts of the “Judge John Hodgman” podcast, spoke with “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes about the podcast and their upcoming Atlanta visit.
