Atlanta’s annual Children’s Christmas Parade was held Saturday, with Santa, Frosty and the whole Christmas crew transforming Midtown to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
The day kicked off with Breakfast with Santa before the parade started at Peachtree and 16th streets. Then helium balloons and floats took over for what is billed as the largest holiday parade in the Southeast.
Thousands of spectators turned out for the event. Check out the photos and what the event’s website calls “the official beginning of the holiday season in Atlanta.”
