'The Perennial' permanent art sculptures speak to sustainability, hope and resilience
Atlanta-based Puerto Rican Digital Scenographer Anaitte Vaccaro defines her work as the design of a total work of art via the integration of technology. Her permanent sculpture “The Perennial” is on view at Little Tree Art Studios in Avondale Estates.
The artwork emerged in response to the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Maria and the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Agreement, symbolizing hope and resilience.
In this interview, Anaitte Vaccaro joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to speak more about her work.
“The vision is for the location to become a social place, where people can meet in person, which I would advocate we need more of,” Vaccaro said.
