Georgian Chamber Players honor Black History Month with free concert at Atlanta History Center

The Georgian Chamber Players include violinists David Coucheron and Zhenwei Shi, and pianists Elizabeth Pridgen and Julie Coucheron. The group was formed by principal players of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in 1984 to perform chamber music repertoire with their ASO colleagues and renowned guest instrumentalists.

On Tuesday evening, Feb. 27, at the Atlanta History Center, the Georgian Chamber Players will give a free concert honoring Black History Month. In this interview, pianist Julie Coucheron and cellist Khari Joyner join “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to talk more about the program.
