Conductor and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Music Director Nathalie Stutzmann details the ASO’s next season
Conductor Nathalie Stutzmann has been music director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra since 2022 — only the second woman in history to lead a major American orchestra. Her achievements are many, both on the podium and in the opera pit in her illustrious career as a contralto.
Stutzmann joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to discuss upcoming concerts and highlights of the next season, including a Beethoven project and the release of a new ASO recording of music by Dvorak.
“As musicians and artists we need to explore the emotions and the other side of life and this music is crucial in that aspect,” said Stutzmann.
