Two Fulton County judges disqualified independent presidential candidate Cornel West and Party for Socialism and Liberation presidential candidate Claudia De la Cruz from the Georgia ballot.
Green Party nominee Jill Stein’s case remains in progress. Libertarian presidential candidate Chase Oliver has secured his spot on the ballot. A court determined that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was “not qualified” to appear on the ballot in Georgia.
#4. How many felony counts does former President Donald Trump now face in the Georgia 2020 election interference case?
It’s eight.
Fulton Superior Judge Scott McAfee dismissed three more counts in the Georgia election interference case against former President Trump and his allies. The dismissed counts have to do with filing false documents to a federal court, of which Trump is charged with two. The judge upheld the bedrock racketeering charge in the indictment in a separate ruling. Trump now faces eight felony counts, down from the 13 in the original indictment.

Five Georgia athletes won seven medals at the 2024 Paralympics, which held its closing ceremony on Sunday.
Gia Pergolini won a gold medal in the 100-meter backstroke and a silver in the 50-meter freestyle in the classification of S13. McKenzie Coan took home a silver medal in swimming in the 400-meter freestyle in the classification of S7. Athens-based sprint runner Jarryd Wallace won bronze for the long jump T64.
