The beauty and wonder of Georgia’s natural seasons guide the story of a family-friendly performance at the Alliance Theatre’s Bernhardt Theatre for the Very Young.
“The Curious Cardinal,” based on a book by Mark Valdez, shows what adventures await when you explore the beauty of your own backyard. It’s part of a season full of engaging programming from the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta, whose Arts & Authors event series brings us a book festival, live music events, theatrical performances, art classes and much more.
“The Curious Cardinal” is on stage at the MJCCA on Sept. 29 with two daytime performances. Theatre director and Alliance Theatre Head of Youth and Family Programs Olivia Aston Bosworth, and Pam Morton, director of the Arts & Authors programming at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta, recently joined “City Lights” with Lois Reitzes to discuss the upcoming performance.
