Chick-fil-A is introducing a new way for families to be entertained and spend quality time with one another with the launch of its new app, Chick-fil-A Play. The app is scheduled to go live on Nov. 18.

The Atlanta-based staple says that the app will give families access to “the ultimate digital ‘playground’ featuring fun and unique content made to be shared both within the app and in-person,” according to a recent press release.

“Hospitality and fun have always been at the core of the Chick-fil-A family experience, whether inside our Restaurants and play areas, or through our Kids Meals,” said Dustin Britt, executive director of brand strategy for the company. “We’re reimagining ‘Play’ for our Guests, in a unique way through entertainment that really encourages time together.”

“Play” is set to feature a variety of original content that was created for all ages to be able to engage.

App-exclusive series “Legends of Evergreen Hills” will lead viewers into a land of adventure and play with animated versions of the Chick-fil-A cows.

Original scripted podcasts designated for children are also on the way for to be enjoyed “on the way to school, practice and anywhere in-between.”

The app will also feature family-friendly games, e-books and interactive stories, as well as video-based recipes and kid-friendly crafts.
