GBPI analyst breaks down 2024 Georgia ballot measures
With just days until the 2024 presidential election and the end of early voting approaching, across the state of Georgia voters are voting on three ballot measures.
These three measures are all related to taxes. But some say the language used to describe measures on the ballot is hard to understand.
Daniel Kanso, the director of legislative strategy and senior fiscal analyst at Georgia Budget and Policy Institute, returns to “Closer Look” to explain what each of the measures mean and the potential implications of the measures if they are passed. Kanso also talked about why he feels lawmakers should be transparent with ballot wording.
