She qualified for the 2008 Olympic Team Trials at The LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon in 2006, for the 2012 Olympic Team Trials at Grandma’s Marathon in 2011, and — on her 36th birthday — she qualified for her third Olympic Trials at the Chicago Marathon.
