Terminus Modern Ballet Takes On Greek Mythology For ‘Modern Myths’
This weekend, Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre explores themes from Greek antiquity where gods fall out of olive trees, and Icarus falls from the sky with two works by their resident choreographers, Tara Lee and Heath Gill. Their program, “Modern Myths,” will mark the first time students from the Terminus School of Modern Ballet will share the stage with the company’s professional dancers.
John Welker is the director and co-founder of Terminus Ballet joined Lois Reitzes on “City Lights” to discuss the program.
“Under the Olive Tree” and “Horizons” will be performed March 6 and 7 at the Kennesaw State University Dance Theatre.
