Election season is underway across the county, despite the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.

Georgia Democratic U.S. Senate candidates are trying to connect with voters in new ways before their primary on June 9.

Sarah Riggs Amico, Teresa Tomlinson and Jon Ossoff, each among the candidates looking to take Republican Sen. David Perdue’s seat, are planning to hold online events in the coming weeks.



Amico is continuing her “Keeping the Faith” online conversation series about “faith & advocacy in hard times.” The virtual chats are planned to continue on upcoming Sundays: May 31, from 3 to 4 p.m., June 7 and June 14. Tomlinson holds virtual meet-and-greets on Thursdays through Zoom. The next ones are on May 28 and June 4 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Visit Tomlinson’s website to learn more.

Ossoff is planning to do a virtual town hall on May 30 at 4 p.m. The candidate is livestreaming the event on his Facebook page

Based on Perdue’s website and Facebook page, it appears that the incumbent doesn’t have virtual events scheduled.
