For the first time in decades, Fulton County will have a new district attorney.
In Tuesday’s election, Paul Howard, the longtime incumbent, earned 26% of the vote, losing to his former deputy, Fani Willis, who earned 73% of the vote.
Willis is the first woman elected as Fulton County district attorney.
She joined “Closer Look” host Rose Scott on Wednesday’s program to discuss her win and what’s next for the Fulton County district attorney’s office.
