Public health, crime and the economy are the top three issues concerning metro Atlanta residents, according to a new survey from the Atlanta Regional Commission.
“Race relations” and transportation trailed closely behind, the report found.
The survey, “Metro Atlanta Speaks,” covers ten counties, including the City of Atlanta. The ARC has released the survey each year since 2013.
On Monday’s edition of Closer Look Mike Carnathan, senior manager of research and analytics for Atlanta Regional Commission, joined host Rose Scott to provide some context to this new data.
Carnathan shared how the pandemic shaped this year’s survey responses, and how the public health crisis changed the way the survey was conducted.
