On April 18, civil rights and social groups came together with the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives to discuss policing in communities of color.

The virtual event, hosted by the Buckhead/Cascade Chapter of Links, Inc. and N.O.B.L.E., focused on implicit bias and the passage of the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.

On Friday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Lynda Williams, a professor of the practice at Middle Tennessee State University in the Department of Criminal Justice Administration and president of N.O.B.L.E., joined host Rose Scott for a conversation about the event.

Williams also shared her perspective on the future of police reform.
