What The Battery’s Recovery Means For The Atlanta Braves

The Battery fully reopened last spring after a couple of weeks of curbside service and to-go-only offerings.

The Battery is recharged.

As business slowly returns to pre-pandemic levels, the Atlanta Braves are counting on revenues generated from the 60-acre project to be reinvested into the team’s finances, including payroll.

“Our core objective is winning the World Series,” Mike Plant, president and CEO of Braves Development Co., told Atlanta Business Chronicle. “A part of that is our performance on the field, and where The Battery can support various parts of that objective is what we’re going to continue to do as an organization.”
