Alvin Ailey Dance Theater brings 'Century' to Fox Theatre as part of its 65th anniversary celebration

When the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to Atlanta, we like to think of it as welcoming family back to their second home. They’ll perform at the Fox Theatre from Jan. 25-27.

It’s the 65^th anniversary of this global wellspring of creative achievement in dance, and as part of the anniversary celebration, the company commissioned a world premiere, “Century” by Amy Hall Garner. In this interview, the choreographer joins “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to talk more about her latest work and its upcoming premiere staging.
