James Baldwin's complex tale of a church community comes to the Alliance.
Atlanta, Ga – A key feature of this year's National Black Arts Festival, Andrea Frye directs this bittersweet examination of faith and family, and the role of the church in the African American community. WABE's Lois Reitzes recently spoke with Frye about the show and we visited the cast in their last week of rehearsal.
The show opens at the Alliance Theater on July 16th and runs through August 3rd.
