Amtrak

Built in 1908, this train station in Atlanta was really only designed to be a commuter stop. The Atlanta Amtrak Station, still referred to as Brookwood Station, was designed by Neel Reid, a prominent architect in Atlanta in the early 20th century. Passenger rail took a steep decline in the early 1970s as the highway system of roads took root across the United States.
