Atlanta-based comedian Cesar Pichardo tells stories about Latino upbringing and experience
On the “City Lights” series “Speaking of Comedy,” Atlanta’s funniest locals share insights on the perks and perils of their profession. This edition features actor and comedian Cesar Pichardo.
Pichardo got into comedy somewhat by mistake. He’d always wanted to be an actor, so he started taking improv classes at Dillon Theater in Miami, Florida, where he’s originally from.
After the classes, he then began performing improv almost daily. Then Villain Theater started a stand-up workshop.
“I took the workshop out of curiosity with my little brother, and it felt good just telling stories, so I kind of just stuck to it,” Pichardo said.
