Quentin Harrison is a music connoisseur.

The music historian and journalist says he listens to music for excitement first and then works his way into analyzing it.

On Thursday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Harrison talked with host Rose Scott about his favorite albums of 2023 and the artists behind the songs.
