Atlanta business icon Pinky Cole Hayes focuses on expansion, philanthropy and Pepsi partnership

The Slutty Vegan empire is expanding at a rapid pace. With several restaurants across Atlanta and nationwide, Pinky Cole Hayes, the founder of the plant-based restaurant chain, made a big announcement on Friday’s edition of “Closer Look.” She will open a new Bar Vegan location in Georgia.

During the conversation, Hayes discussed the hard lessons she learned while building her $100 million enterprise and the importance of philanthropy. She also talked about her partnership with Pepsi Dig In, which aims to spotlight the best Black-owned restaurants across the country as part of Pepsi’s Restaurant Royalty program.
