Arthur Blank Shares His View On Recent Protests, Talks About New Book
Atlanta businessman Arthur Blank will release a new memoir later this month.
In “Good Company,” Blank offers a glimpse into his childhood and shares his perspective on how to build a “values-based” company.
All proceeds from Blank’s book sales will be donated to the National Center for Civil And Human Rights, according to his publisher.
On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” host Rose Scott had a one-on-one conversation with Blank about the new memoir.
They also discussed recent protests in response to the shooting of Jacob Blake by police in Wisconsin.
Blank told Scott he supported calls for racial justice — including Atlanta United’s decision not to play last week’s match against Inter Miami.
“We actually didn’t even know they were going to do that right before the match was going to start, and I honor their right to make that decision,” Blank said.
