Atlanta chef Benny Vega serves up tasty tidbits of culture in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month
With the arrival of fall and its many festivities, one noteworthy celebration is National Hispanic Heritage Month. The monthlong commemoration pays tribute to the generations of Latino people who have enriched our society immensely.
In this interview, “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes is joined by Benny Vega, executive chef at Citizens Market Atlanta, to talk more about Hispanic Heritage Month and food celebrations.
“I tell my kids every day, whatever you decide to do in your life, I’m not telling you to be a chef, but I want you to do it with the same amount of love and passion that I have for what I do,” Vega said.
