Atlanta Crackers

The Atlanta Crackers was Atlanta’s minor league baseball team from 1901 to 1965. The Crackers were Atlanta’s home team until the Atlanta Braves moved from Milwaukee in 1966. The Atlanta Black Crackers was a professional Negro League baseball team. They were founded in 1919 and their last season was 1952. In the 1920’s both teams used Ponce de Leon Park.
