The International Music Conference is bringing more than 50 panelists together to speak about the entertainment industry and create networking opportunities for emerging artists.
The fifth annual conference kicks off its five-day event Wednesday in Atlanta. The conference will include a series of featured performances, discussion panels, song feedback sessions, workshops and exhibits.
Singer Verse Simmonds, producer Harmony Samuels, gospel artist Canton Jones, Arrow Records CEO Taffi Dollar and Rico Wade are some of many to serve as panelists. Music industry attorneys, executives, deejays, journalists and songwriters are expected to speak.
IMC founder Julia Huie-Martin says she created the conference to “bridge the gap” between music industry professionals. The conference will also feature a 48-hour film festival with prizes totaling more than $10,000.
