The top leader of Atlanta Housing believes housing is a human right.

Terri Lee, who was named president and CEO of the agency earlier this year, was a guest on Thursday’s edition of “Closer Look.”

She talked with show host Rose Scott about the agency’s critical role in helping the city of Atlanta reach its affordable housing goals and expressed that the city has done a terrific job with partnering with organizations and the philanthropic community to provide housing. During the discussion, she also talked about her top priorities as the new leader of the agency and provided updates on several major developments, including the Civic Center and Summerhill Hotel.
